12.5-year-old tuxedo male cat "Han-Ji" (the name means “sweet potato”), whose Feline chronic gingivostomatitis (FCGS) was cured as of June 1, 2021, returns for a follow-up appointment three months after completing the MGRS treatment.
At the time of Han-Ji's initial visit to our hospital for treatment with Dr. Chung-Wei Chen, he was already 11 years old and had undergone a full mouth extraction (with no retained roots). However, his FCGS condition remained severe: his gingiva and oral mucosa were visibly inflamed and swollen, he experienced a loss of appetite due to pain, and his white blood cell count was twice the normal level.

On March 2, 2021, Han-Ji's MGRS treatment was officially completed, and a clear contrast between pre- and post-surgery can be observed, indicating the resolution of FCGS and non-inflamed gingiva and oral mucosa.
On March 2, 2021, Han-Ji, who recovered from stomatitis, had a weight of 3.7kg.
On June 1, 2021, three months after the conclusion of the MGRS treatment, Han-Ji returned for a follow-up appointment. His FCGS had not recurred, his gingival color was healthy, his weight had increased to 4.85kg, and his white blood cell count had begun to decrease.
