Detection of dental plaque, absorption of teeth, and detection of tooth abrasion in dogs and cats.

In addition to requiring dental X-rays and periodontal probes to assess oral and dental health, clinical animal dentistry can also utilize other dental instruments to enhance the thoroughness of oral examinations.

Dental plaque and subtle tooth wear in the mouths of dogs and cats, which are difficult to detect through visual inspection alone, are addressed in our hospital using intraoral cameras during dental cleaning procedures. This aids in the diagnosis, ensuring a more thorough cleaning of the oral cavity and teeth, ultimately achieving comprehensive treatment results.
