Tooth resorption (TR) is one of the common dental diseases in cats, and its etiology remains unclear. According to research, up to 75% of cats may suffer from tooth resorption at some point in their lives. The affected tooth structure undergoes damage, leading to symptoms such as tooth pain, difficulty in eating, and changes in temperament, affecting the quality of life.
本院Developed by Dr. Chung-Wei Chen at our hospital, Anti-Dental Resorption or (ADR) provides cats with the opportunity to retain their teeth and maintain their normal functions. This treatment alleviates pain, improves the quality of life, and eliminates the need for tooth extraction as the sole option for treating tooth resorption.
Below are case studies of successful preservation of teeth and improvement in the quality of life after undergoing ADR treatment at our hospital:
Case A: White domestic shorthair cat, 6 years old, male, neutered
Case B: Brown Bengal cat, 8 years old, male, neutered
