Two and a half years after the end of mucogingival replacement surgery (MGRS) treatment, the orange cat “Circle” was returned to the hospital for follow-up on May 5, 2021. 

In the past two and a half years, no medication has been used for control: the gingiva and oral mucosa are maintained beautifully, the feline chronic gingivostomatitis (FCGS) has not recurred, the mouth is no longer swollen and painful, and the cat's quality of life is good , and the body weight increased from 3.8kg (before surgery) to 5.55kg.

Medication and tooth extraction cannot cure FCGS.
