LuLu是一隻遠從台南轉介至本院的米克斯三花母貓，開始治療時9歲，結束治療時接近10歲。
 
患貓個案口炎病史至少半年以上，來本院前有嘗試過拔牙，仍對口炎無效，轉至本院接受陳重威獸醫師獨創的牙齦黏膜置換手術 (Mucogingival Replacement Surgery, MGRS) 療程之前是以類固醇長期控制，但已經開始出現藥物耐受性，類固醇的效果變短，貓咪非常怕痛，食慾因受口炎疼痛影響而大大減退，體重降至4公斤。
 
LuLu在開始進行牙齦黏膜置換手術 (Mucogingival Replacement Surgery, MGRS)治療後，食慾出現明顯改善，體重明顯增加，經過8個半月的牙齦黏膜置換手術 (Mucogingival Replacement Surgery, MGRS)之後，口炎已完全痊癒、食慾大幅提升、生活品質良好、體重增加到4.9公斤。

LuLu is a calico female cat who was referred from a animal hospital in Tainan. She was 9 years old when she started treatment and was nearly 10 years old when she finished treatment.
 
The patient has a history of feline chronic gingivostomatitis (FCGS) for at least half a year, she had already tried tooth extraction before coming to our hospital, but the symptoms of FCGS did not improve. Before being transferred to our hospital for the treatment of Mucogingival Replacement Surgery (MGRS) created by Dr. Chung-Wei Chen, she had been using steroids to control her symptoms for some time prior to treatment, but drug tolerance has emerged, which results in a shorter duration of steroid effect, the patient is very afraid of pain, the appetite has been greatly reduced due to the pain of FCGS, and the weight has dropped to 4 kg.
 
After we treat LuLu with MGRS, her appetite improved significantly and her weight increased significantly. After 8 and a half months of MGRS, her FCGS was completely cured, appetite improved significantly, good quality of life, and the weight increased to 4.9 kg.
