Hikari是一隻5 kg(11 lbs)雄性混種黑貓，因貓慢性齒齦口炎(Feline Chronic Gingivostomatitis, FCGS)導致牙齦及口腔黏膜紅腫，且因口咽部紅腫造成疼痛及流涎不止，在經過本院的牙齦黏膜置換手術(Mucogingival Replacement Surgery, MGRS)治療11個月後，口炎紅腫部位皆已治癒、口腔不再疼痛，體重上升至5.5 kg (12.1 lbs)，恢復良好的食慾及生活品質。
 
Hikari (the name means “light”) is a 5 kg (11 lbs) male mixed black cat. Feline Chronic Gingivostomatitis (FCGS) caused red and swollen gingiva and oral mucosa, and pain and salivation caused by redness and swelling of the oropharynx. After 11 months of Mucogingival Replacement Surgery (MGRS) at our hospital, all FCGS lesions have healed, the oral cavity is no longer painful, the weight has increased to 5.5 kg (12.1 lbs), and the appetite and quality of life have been restored.
